yikes. it's been quite some time since i've updated... years?

i just felt the need to write something.

-finishing my last quarter at uw. 18 credits. it's busy, crazy, invigorating, frustrating and fun all the the same time. after graduation i have a few ideas about what i want to do, but we'll see if God has the same plans in mind.

-still nannying for will's family. lately, we've been really into super mario bros. it's been a great source of bonding for us as well as a source of discipline. i'm thinking i'll stay on with his family as long as possible. i love that kid and i feel like God still has some things He wants to happen there before i'm done with him.

-evan and i are doing great. we're coming up on our three year anniversary in june. i look at pictures and literally feel like it was last summer that we got married. crazy!

-i've been going to bible study fellowship this year on monday nights. i can't express how much that's impacted my life and my relationship with the Lord. it's pretty incredible. i'm really sad it's ending in four sessions. hopefully my group will be able to do something over the summer.

anyway, i think i'm back? at least in june when i'm done with school, i'll be back. : )

this past weekend, i found out that i got into the University of Washington. i jumped up and down about 10 times, screamed, and called everyone in my phone. i start winter quarter, sometime in january. i am going to talk to an adviser soon to figure out how i can graduate quickest. and if you were wondering, i am going to be an art major, probably painting and drawing...

my dear friend rickey called me up this afternoon and offered to take me to the special acoustic jason mraz show at the paramount tonight! don't worry, he offered to take evan first, but evan being the kind hearted husband he is, insisted that i go. i am super excited. my last concert was an aqueduct show this past summer... i am a huge fan of mraz's live stuff much more then his regular albums so this going to be great.

life has been a blur of school and nannying. i cannot wait for thanksgiving break and fall quarter to be DONE, so i can get the heck outta seattle central.

off to facilitate some lego building...

EDIT: really amazing show. he played a lot of songs off the live at java joe's album which is my favorite. rick told me some of the songs he played, he hadn't played in over 4 years so it was a treat. we had a great time! woo!

i am so excited for our new president to be announced. . . it's only a matter of time.

i have finally made a decision about what i will be for halloween this year. of course, i won't spoil it right now, but i am really looking forward to all the prep for it. evan and i went to a costume shop near our house last week and wandered aimlessly through the aisles, looking for anything interesting to be. i tried on about 12 wigs because i thought that was the direction of my costume... it wasn't. i won't even have hair in the costume i've chosen. i am grossed out with the thought of being sexy on halloween. it repulses me. halloween is supposed to be spooky and silly. and that is what it will be this year. i will start hunting for my costume tonight! YIPPEE!
