today i quit starbucks. or rather, put in my two weeks notice. it was a very bittersweet moment for me. while i don't really enjoy the ave much anymore or the absolutely psycho customers that frequent the store, i will truly miss my "partners"... the only reason i stayed so long, was able to bear the job and actually make it through a shift was because of the awesome people i worked with. it is the end of an era. i remember praying a few summers ago that God would bless me with a job. He did, He is always faithful and good, and it was a great run. But i feel that i have been blessed with another great oppurtunity. so it is out with the old and in with the new. it'll start 2008 off with a new vibe. i'm looking forward to it, too. we (evan and i) were invited over to the family's house for lunch where i'll be nannying, tomorrow. exciting things, all around. : )
